Entertaining musical of Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood as two gold prospectors sharing one wife (Jean Seberg). So the plot is basically silly, but then so are other musicals, but the characters are engaging and the songs catchy, which males the film watchable. Although the film is long, it does move on well. Despite neither of the two lead really being able to sing, Lee Marvin singing Wandering Star became a surprise hit record.
