After his business fails a man (Dane Clark) blackmails his friend (Paul Carpenter) into killing him so his wife (Thea Gregory) can collect the life insurance. The arrangement is to kill him within 5 days, but when the business deal actually comes through he has to try and stop his own murder. THe twist to plot is though quite obvious from fairly early on in the film.
