Title: The Owl And The Pussycat
Type: Romantic comedy
Director: Herbert Ross
An unpublished writer (George Segal) complains to the building supervisor that one of his neighbours (Barbara Streisand) is taking money for entertaining men. She is evicted and comes round to complain to complain and as they start arguing they both get thrown out leading to adventure and romance. This is essentially a double header with virtually all the scenes revolving around the relationship between Barbara Streisand and George Segal. Whilst both characters are annoying, this is both the strength and weakness of the film. They both give good performances, even if Barbara Streisand does a lot of shouting, though it is her character.
