The daughter (Jessie matthews) of a poor titled family living in a castle is in love with a radio announcer (Gene Gerrad) who turns up enagaged to her sister (Kay Hammond). Fed up with the situation she goes to the South of France to be a night club singer and impersonates a Russian star. The plot is somewhat silly and based on stage play. This was Jessie Matthews first talking picture and the start of her career.
