A bank clerk falls in love with a woman (Pat Kirkwood) with a criminal and murky past against the advice of his girl freind (Joy Shelton) and family. After they marry she gets drawn back by her criminal ex-boy friend. This is a British thriller that largely revolves around the charcter of Pat Kirkwood as she tries to deal with her past that is coming in to her present and affecting her relationships.
