A man (John Mills) is involved in bus crash in which a young girl is killed and he then spends a year in hospital. On relase he goes back to work stays in guest house where one of the residents (Kay Walsh) is murdered nearby and he is the prime suspect. Meanwhile he has fallen in love with sister (Joan Greenwood) of a co-worker. This is a good murder mystery / thriller with a good performance from John Mills with support from Joan Greenwood, Kay Walsh and Edward Chapman.
