Two miners strike gold in Alaska. One (John Wayne) goes back to Seattle to collect the fiance of the other (Stewart Granger). However in the meantime she has married someone else, so he brings back a French woman (Capucine) from a brothel. The inevitable romantic entanglements occur. This is an entertaining light romantic comedy with a good performance from John Wayne who is well supported by Capucine.
