A woman (Barbara Steele) and her lover are tortured and killed by her husband (Paul Muller) . He then marries her sister. The husband tries to send her mad as he wants to inherit her money and castle with his lover (Helga Line). The two murdered people come back as ghosts to exact their revenge on their killer. This Italian horror has a good gothic feel and production as well as a performance from Barbara Steele playing both sisters. The English language version is dubbed by Barbara Steele herself.
