A small island is having a heat wave whilst the main land has snow and as bodies start to pile up it becomes apparent to some that the cause is an alien invasion. This is a low budget production from director Terence Fisher. The interest in the film is the three way relationship between local writer patrick Allen, his wife (Sarah Lawson) and his secretary and ex-lover (Jane Merrow).
