In rural New England Max von Sydow opens a shop where you can buy whatever you want, however as with any pact with the devil, there is a price to pay as havoc is wreaked upon the town by its own inhabitants. Ed Harris is the local policeman trying to work out what is happening. The film is based on the Stephen King novel.
