Comment/Synopsis

An aspiring writer (Rosalind Russell) and her sister (Janet Blair) who wants to become an actor move to New York to try and make their careers. They rent a dilapidated basement flat only to find various strangers come through it whilst a newspaper man (Brian Aherne) befriends them and tries to help. This is a fast paced comedy with Rosalid Russell have some good comic lines and janet Blair attracts all the men. This may not be a great film, but it is a very good comic farce and great fun.
