Comment/Synopsis
A woman (Nina Foch) in need of a job accepts the position as secretary to a family through an agency. After going to the house she wakes up a day later in a big house in Cornwall where the family tell her that her name is something different and she is married to the son. Whilst they are trying to convince everyone that she is mentally unwell she is trying to find ways to tell her friend that she has been kidnapped. Although you know that she is not mad and has been kidnapped there is a brooding suspense with a good performance from Nina Foch in the lead role and May Whitty as the scheming mother trying to cover up a murder.
