An American student (Rhiannon Fish) has a chance encounter with a Norwegian man that leads her to visit Norway to find the source of a troll left to her by her grandmother. This has a better plot than most Hallmark Christmas films as Rhiannon Fish discovers more about her family and helps David Elsendoorn rediscover a meaning for his life after a skiing accident ends his professional career. The Norwegian setting makes a difference but there are all sorts of cultural and other inaccuracies associated with the location. It is however one of Rhiannon FIsh's better films.
