Margaret Rutherford is a feisty Miss Marple who investigates the death of a wealthy man who apparently died of fright by seeing a cat and the four surviving relatives are the main suspects. MGM added some comedy to the original story and changed the main character from Hercule Poirot to Miss Marple.
