A man goes on holiday with his wife to a small Caribbean island, where on a fishing trip he catches a mermaid. He falls in love with her which upsets his wife and another woman who has designs on him. This is a fun piece of light froth. Ann Blyth is suitably sultry for someone with no legs and no voice, hence it is Irene Hervey as the wife and Andrea King as the potential mistress that come across as the stars.
