Uma Thurman is a mother in New York who is trying to cope with her life and organise a birthday party for her 6 year old child. The basic idea is OK, but the problem is that Uma Thurman's character is not particularly likeable and the situations are neither engaging or comic. Both Uma Thurman and Minnie Driver have appeared in much better films.
