A woman (Vera Reynolds) returns home for the reading of the will of her father. She inherits a fortune, but the spooky house with secret passages is inhabited by an invalid relative, old retainers (Mischa Auer) and an ape in a cage. People start dying, but is it the ape? This is a poor variation of the haunted house theme.
