Cary Grant is a scientist looking for a formula to bring eternal youth. One of his monkeys mixes some of chemicals and put it in the water. When Cary Grant drinks some of it he acts like a teenage and when his wife Ginger Rogers drinks some she regresses to a child. This is an entertaining comedy if you accept the basic silliness of the plot with a good performance from Cary Grant in the lead role. The highlight of the film though is the performance from Ginger Rogers especially in the scenes where she regresses to a child. This was the second film pairing Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers with an early performance from Marilyn Monroe, more for her looks than the small amount of acting she does. This was one of Howard Hawks screwball comedies for which he manged to put together a star cast.
