This is a version of story of Annette Kellerman who was a swimming star and entertainer who caused scandal with her one piece bathing suit. The first half is quite slow and it over focuses on her love life. The best parts of the films are Esther Williams's swimming scenes that were choreographed by Busby Berkeley. Esther Williams is good at both swimmming and acting.
