A child who has control of a magical medallion is kidnapped by Julian Sands in Hong Kong despite local policeman Jackie Chan and interpol agent Lee Evans trying to stop him. The chld is taken to Ireland where they team up with Clarie Forlani to rescue the child. A Jackie Chan / Lee Evan film is not going to be a serious piece of cinema and this is a mixture of action, fantasy, comedy, martial arts and romance. Jackie Chan provides the action, Lee Evans the slapstick comedy and Claire Forlani the love interest who links the action and the comedy.
