A husband visits a psychiatrist to say he is having dreams of killing his wife (Irene Hervey) over her jewels and when she is killed in the way he described , he is the prime suspect, but the police and insurance investigator (Sterling Hayden) soon come up with plenty of other suspects including the psychiatrists secretary (Dorothy Lamour). The plot is OK, but the script struggles with having no central character to carry the story.
