A couple living in a remote forrest attract the attention of the leader of a murderous cult. When she (Andrea Rieborough) is kidnapped and killed, he (nicholas Cage) sets out on revenge. This film is overlong, is filmed too much in the dark and has two halves that are very different from each other.
