Comment/Synopsis
In the middle of the Jack The Ripper murders an enigmatic man (Jack Palance) rents a room in a house. Gradually the landlady begins to suspect the man is Jack The Ripper meanwhile her niece (Constance Smith) who sings and dances in a revue starts to fall in love with the lodger. This is essentially a remake of the 1944 film The Lodger which was also made by 20th Century Fox
