A prominent surgeon who is a pilot has a plane crash that kills the married woman travelling with him. Although innocent of any indiscretion the resulting scandal makes him leave his job and life. He becomes a tramp and gets arrested. A friend then gets him a job as a mechanic on ambulance planes. The attractive nurse (Joan Fontaine) discovers his true identity and works to redeem him as a pilot and as a doctor. Whilst a lot of the plot is unbeleivable, it is entertaining for a low budget B movie. The most notable part of the film is the first star billing performance from a young Joan Fontaine.
