Comment/Synopsis
A man (Stuart Erwin) who wants to be a cowboy actor in the movies so after completing a distance learning course in acting goes to Hollywood. As he cannot actor he does not get work until an actress (Joan Blondell) finds him and decides to have him make a comedy western but he thinks it is a serious western. This is a curious film in that Joan Blondell manipulates Stuart Erwin for motives that are not really clear. The film revolves around the performance of Stuart Erwin but it is confused as to is it drama with pathos or a comedy and ends up missing the mark. Not the best film by Joan Blondell.
