In the trenches of WW1 an injured man (Ralph Bellamy) meets a famous actress. Years later when he is losing his sight he goes to the theatre where she is performing and his friends persuade a nightclub singer (Ruth Chatterton) to impersonate her. The plot is nothing special but is interesting for Ruth Chatterton's French accent and her musical numbers.
