A young boy trades an invisible watch for a powerful magnet which leads him into scrapes and sparks a surprise fund raising exercise. This is a curious mix of morality tale and comedy. There is a good performance from a young James Fox in his second film and kay Walsh is her usual charm as her mother. It has an innocent charm of the early 1950's.
