A reclusive author (Paul Campbell) famous for his magical Christmas books posts on social media that Christmas is just a commercial rip-off. As this alienates his fans, his publicist (Lyndie Greenwood) takes him back to his home town CHristmas festival built around his books to try and restore his reputation. There is a lack of any real sense of romantic chemistry between the two leads.
