A young woman (Barbara Stanwyck) is subject to unwanted advances when she is taken out on a drinking boat by her boss's son (Rod La Roque). She is saved when the police raid the boat. A year into her marriage to another man (William Boyd) she discovers that her husband's sister (Betty Bronson) is having an affair with the man. She goes to his flat to confront him but events take a tragic turn. Whilst the plot is not great, it is notable for being Barbara Stanwyck's first talking picture as well as some innovative camera work for the time.
