A man (Stewart Granger) who ignores his wife (Ava Gardner) get stranded on a deserted island with his best friend (David Niven) who is in love with his wife. Ava Gardner is still in love with Stewart Granger and uses David Niven to win him back as this plays out with British charcters against a French farce with sexual undertones. Despite three good actors in the lead roles overall this misses the mark as the comedy falls flat in places and it lacks the sexual tension that should be there.
