Elisabeth Shue is a student who accepts a summer job with Terence Stamp who works with chimps in a remote house. He has an elderly orangutan (Link) who acts as butler in the house. When Terrence Stamp suddenly disappears, the animals stop Elisabeth Shue from leaving the house or having any contact with the outside world. The suspense builds well as the film becomes more creepy as it progrgesses. This is slightly strange film with good performances from a young Elisabeth Shue and the animals
