A retelling of the life of the infamous Victorian criminal Charles Peace. This is one of the earliest examples in Britian of of a film with a story based on real life events. It is a series of scenes separated with chapter heading cards. Whilst story films had been made this was longer running at around 13 minutes. William Haggar used members of hisnfamily as all the actors in the film.
