Comment/Synopsis

A woman (Norma Shearer) divorces her husband (Rod La Rocque) when his mistress turns up at their house. Three years later, after reinventing herself in Paris, she is invited to a house party by an elderly woman (Marie Dressler) to try and prevent a girl (Sally Eilers) from breaking her engagement in favour of an older man, who turns out to be her ex-husband. This is an entertaining farce with a good performance from Norma Shearer though it is the the performance from Marie Dressler as the cantankerous elderly woman. In places it show its origian as a stage play, but not enough to ditract from the script.
