A family are shipwrecked and then rescued by an unpleasant captain. He kills one of them, sets the father and son adrift and the wife commits suicide to prevent herself being raped. The husband promises to get revenge and years later the opportunity arises as the captain turns up as the boss of the son. The plot is muddled and not even Sally Blane as the love interest can rescue this film.
