In prohibition Texas Bruce Willis arrives in a small town that is dominated by two gangs, one Irish and one Italian, who he plays off against each other. This is a variation on the Yojimbo / Fist Full Of Dollars plot, but this time in an American gangster setting. Bruce Willis gives a good performance in the lead in this violent thriller that has some unusual though effective cinematography. The music was written by Ry Cooder.
