King Arrthur sends his trusted knight Sir Lancelot to fight for the throne of England and the hand of the beautiful princess Guinevere. However they fall in love with each other with disasterous consequences for both of them, the king and the kingdom. This is a variation of the Arthur and lancelot legend that has some good set piece battle scenes that have plenty of carnage and underplayed sexual relationship between Lancelot and Guinevere. This was written, produced, directed and acted by Cornel Wilde with a curious French accent.
