A crocodile appears in a lake in Maine and starts eating people. Local Sheriff Brendan Gleeson calls in ranger Bill Pullman and scientist Bridget Fonda to find out what is happening. Oliver Platt is the rich hunter who arrives to kill the animal and Betty White is the old lady with a few secrets. The plot is not great or original, but the dialogue is witty and overall this is an entertaining film with solid performances from Bill Pullman and Bridget Fonda.
