As tensions rise between Saxon Lords, the king and the Normans, Lady Godiva rides nkaed through Coventry on a horse to bring peace. THis film has a different slant on the Lady Godiva story and most of the film focusses on the warring relationships between the Saxon lords that is being stirred up by the Normans and not helped by a weak king. THe best eprformance comes from Maureen O'Hara as the strong willed Godiva.
