The music hall star Lil Hawthorne sing Kitty Malone in this only surviving example of a sound recording synced with film from Victorian Nritain. Walter Gibboms made a number of these phono bio tableaux, but this is the only one that remains. It is the oldest surviving British film with sound years before the advent of talkies.
