During the reign of Charles 2 (George Sanders), the father of a Lady (Ann Blyth) is accused of treason and executed. She travel to London to confront the Duke (David Niven) responsible but on the way she meets a highway man (John Dhner) and together they plan to expose the Duke's plot to execute people for treason and then take their money and lands.
