A sailor delivering supplies to a remote island is trapped there by a hurricane and discovers that the scientists living on the island have bred giant killer shrews and he has to help them survive and escape. The dialogue and acting are not great in this variation of monster movie theme found in 1950's B movies. Ingrid Goude brings some elegance to the film.
