In a future 1980 a man who died in 1930 is brought back to life. He is befriended by two men, one of whom wants to marry the love of his life but cannot as the state decides who can marry and he is deemed not suitable. They travel to mars to prove he is suitable to marry her. This is a curious mix of sci-fi and comedy with a few musical numbers thrown in as well. The people of Mars seem to be mainly scantily clad women and there is a drinking song that is choreographed like a Busby Berkeley number. This is not a particularly good film but of interest as an early pre-code piece if science fiction..
