A successful record producer (Ryan Reynolds) is flying with his latest singing sensation (Anna Faris) when they are forced to land near the town where he was brought up. There he meets an old friend (Amy Smart) who was his best friend in high school but who did not want to be his lover. Meeting her again rekindles his love for her, but the path to their relationship has to overcome various difficulties. This is an average romantic comedy, but it does have good performances from Amy Smart as the love interest but it is Anna Faris as the self obsessed star who steals virtually every scene that she is in. The down side is that Ryan Reynolds character is annoying.
