Tim Allen works on Wall Street and travels to the South American jungle to get a divorce from his wife (JoBeth Williams) who left him 13 years ago so he can marry the new love of his life (Lolita Davidovich). Whilst there he discovers he has a son (Sam Huntingdon) who he brings back to New York with the inevitable culture clash. Although based on a French novel the basic plot is familiar (Tarzan, Crocodile Dundee) but with a teenage love interest. There is nothing in the plot, acting or production that raises this above the average.
