A woman is killed in a house on the outskirts of Brighton and the police start a methodical investigation to find the killer. This British police drama was produced by Val Guest and has Jack Warner as the police inspector who gets his killer through systematic police work, rather than luck and coincidence. The plot is well constructed, though there is limited action.
