An orphan gets (Virginia Bruce) a job as a governess to a wealthy man (Colin Clive) and as she thinks he has feeling for her, he brings in another woman (Aileen Pringle). This is a slightly creaky early sound version of the novel which Virginia Bruce holds together despite the limitations of the budget.
