A nuclear scientist mysteriously receives instructions on how to build a machine and then is invited to join a secret research group only to find it is run by aliens trying to take over the world. He meets a female scientist and they both end up being taken to the alien world. This is one of those films that you need to judge by the standards of the time rather than today.
