Comment/Synopsis
After being shipwrecked a man (Richard Arlen) ends up on a remote south seas island where a mad scientist (Charles Laughton) is experimenting on animals and trying to turn them into people. This includes the beautiful Panther Woman (Kathleen Burke). Leila Hyams is the girlfriend who sets out to resuce Richard Arlen. The best performance is from Charles Laughton as the creepy Dr Moreau. It was remade as The Island Of Dr Moreau.
