A reporter (Grace Bradley), her policeman boyfriend and the local District Attorney are trying to get rid of gambling in the town but the crimincal gangs and some unexplained murders complicate matters. This is a typical crime drama of the late 1930's. The highlight is the energetic performance from Grace Bradley.
