Comment/Synopsis

A man (Gary Marsh) is having an affair with an actress (June Clyde) whilst his wife is chasing after his business partner (Jack Hobbs). In an attempt to deflect the wife's advances the business partner claims he is engaged to the actress. The farce develops when the actress visits their country house for the weekend and actually falls in love with the business partner. This is a gentle entertaining British farce and the thin plot is not that important. The highlight of the film is the performance of June Clyde showing off her charm and elegance. She also performs three musical numbers in the film.
